confused Let's be honest, who else has problems/excuses/whatever for not doing things that most do; like taxes (even if you are going to get money back)? Have you had your bills done, stamp on the envelope, but you procrastinate putting it in the mailbox for over a week? Organizing, even laundry is in my opinion hard..and not something I ever want to do..and dishes ( I've thrown them all away many times instead of washing them))) but I can't now since we're living at my moms. I guess it's time to grow up and make a chore list everyday or something.. anyone else care to share what they do or don't do. Maybe we can kind of IDK do the dreaded things together, cheer either on or something pig

Well, I don't call that either laziness or Aspergers. I call that lack of responsibility. I have chores I have to do every day, and If I don't get them done that day, I have them the next day, plus whatever I would've had regularly. Which, I might add, sucks ass when we've just had Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.
But I love things being organized. Despite the fact that my room has clothes all over it, pretty much everything else is perfectly organized. Needs dusted off, but it's organized. If I had time to clean it up more, I would, but I don't with some of the things I've had to do.
And as far as dishes go, if you don't want to wash them, eat finger food, or use styrofoam or, more environmentally preferred, paper plates and bowls and such. As an adult you are obligated to keep your property clean and sanitized, and that includes keeping eating material clean. Especially. And even more so if theres some sort of a pandemic going around. Know of any like that? If not, I'll give you a hint: pig .

Sometimes, there's things in life that you don't want to do, but you have to do them. Nobody really likes to clean. But it's a neccesity.

I do them...but the level of anger and flustration is crazy. As far as organizing.. ya.. I suck at it. I don't have the patience, maybe that's what my problem is. I don't have patience, I really dont'. My ideal way of cleaning the house *before having Kailey* was getting a garbage bag, throwing away whatever was on the floor and in the kitchen sink. vaccuuming, dusting, Lighting some candles and I was done. well except laundry.

I don't know.... I've always been a procrastinator. I hate housework, I can blame that on my parents for making me do theirs for most of my childhood as they worked all the time, so the stuff around the house usually fell to us kids... but then my sister is a neat freak, so I guess that's not it. I don't know if it's a symptom of aspergers or not. I do know that once I get going, I don't want to stop until the job's done... ya know? Like it's an obsession or something. But otherwise... I'm more meh... I'll get it later. I mean, as you know, I've been in this house for 3 months or more now and we still have quite a few boxes to unpack.

Now... organizing and keeping my computer files up to date and perfect... that is an obsession and don't mess with me on that one. lol....

i have to do chores everyday, but its not like a ton of work. just pretty well enough to keep the house moderately clean and to make me more responsible.

but wow, you need to unpack. i could never take that long to take out my stuff, since i can't live without most of it.
